At the University of Montevallo, we understand the power of social media in reaching and engaging with current and prospective students. That’s why we’ve formed a dedicated Student Social Media Team, comprised of six talented individuals who are passionate about showcasing the unique spirit and opportunities UM has to offer.
Our Mission
The Student Social Media Team’s primary goal is to support the University Marketing & Communications Office in effectively reaching current and prospective students through the latest social media trends. The team achieves this by closely monitoring emerging trends and crafting engaging, on-brand short-form video content tailored for platforms such as TikTok and Instagram. By acting as ambassadors for UM, the team showcases campus life and student activities, providing a glimpse into the vibrant community that awaits at UM.
